Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and societal trends through 2030
- Develop strategic frameworks for adopting emerging innovations in quantum computing, biotech, and AI
- Produce white papers and executive briefings on future-of-work implications
- Design scenario-planning models for geopolitical and climate-related disruptions
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align innovation priorities with 2026 milestones
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Represent the company at global foresight conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Proven expertise in trend analysis using Delphi methods, horizon scanning, and scenario planning
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills for complex futures concepts
- Experience designing innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Published thought leadership in futures research or technology ethics
- Ability to synthesize insights from diverse disciplines (sociology, economics, engineering)
