Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic foresight frameworks to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts through 2026
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for Fortune 500 clients across tech, healthcare, and energy sectors
- Design innovation roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and climate-tech solutions
- Author high-impact trend reports and executive briefs on future workforce and economic models
- Manage a portfolio of experimental innovation labs with $5M+ annual R&D budgets
- Mentor junior strategists and build external thought leadership through speaking engagements
- Forge partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and global innovation hubs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in corporate strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two future-critical domains: AI ethics, synthetic biology, or circular economy
- Proven track record of launching successful future-focused initiatives with measurable ROI
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills for complex future scenarios
- Fluency in foresight methodologies (Horizon Scanning, Delphi, Delphi 2.0)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
