Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends and societal shifts to forecast 2026+ market opportunities
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, and climate tech innovations
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Produce trend reports and white papers published in industry journals
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions
- Represent Horizon Labs at global innovation summits and conferences
- Mentor junior futurists and build our foresight methodology framework
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, or climate tech ecosystems
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex technical concepts
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
- Global network of futurists and industry experts
