Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, bio-integration) and translate insights into strategic frameworks
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with global market shifts and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional workshops to incubate disruptive concepts and prototype solutions
- Present foresight findings to executive stakeholders and board members using data-driven narratives
- Partner with R&D to prioritize R&D investments and accelerate time-to-market for breakthrough innovations
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and identify strategic partnerships for Horizon Dynamics
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at premier future-tech conferences
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level storytelling capabilities
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystems and innovation communities
- Proficiency in AI-powered analytics tools (e.g., Trendalyzer, Palantir) and data visualization
