Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (2026+)
- Develop strategic roadmaps for quantum computing and AI integration
- Chair the Innovation Council, evaluating 50+ future-tech proposals quarterly
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget for experimental projects
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on next-gen research initiatives
- Present technology forecasts to Fortune 100 clients and investors
- Build and mentor a team of 8 futurist researchers
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record launching 3+ breakthrough tech products
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published author in MIT Technology Review or equivalent
- Experience securing >$10M in R&D funding
- Fluency in Mandarin and Spanish for global stakeholder engagement
