- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and startups to accelerate R&D cycles
- Ensure all initiatives align with ESG principles and regulatory compliance frameworks
- Mentor junior strategists in horizon scanning and trend analysis methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends with 80%+ accuracy
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized AI
- Experience building innovation pipelines with measurable ROI metrics
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystems and academia
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- MSc/PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required
