You'll analyze global tech trends, assess disruptive technologies' commercial viability, and guide our R&D pipeline toward breakthrough innovations that position us as industry pioneers.
Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 2026+ market potential (quantum computing, biotech integration, AI ethics frameworks)
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate technical concepts into actionable business plans
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for emerging tech domains
- Present technology insights to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Manage innovation pilot programs from concept to commercialization
- Foster partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record in commercializing next-generation technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AR/VR, neurotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Experience with patent analysis and IP strategy development
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation journals
