Responsibilities

- Lead research initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align tech innovation with business objectives
- Manage $5M+ R&D budgets and vendor partnerships for next-gen solutions
- Pioneer industry thought leadership through white papers and conference presentations
- Mentor cross-functional teams on emerging technology adoption strategies
- Identify and mitigate ethical/sustainability implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech adoption (quantum/AI/sustainability)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in technology forecasting and scenario planning methodologies
- Strong network within tech innovation ecosystems (VCs, labs, startups)
- Certification in Technology Strategy or Innovation Management preferred
- Experience with agile development and rapid prototyping environments
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and sustainable tech principles
