Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech integration
- Lead cross-functional sprints to prototype 2026-viable solutions (AR/VR, neural interfaces, sustainable tech)
- Conduct horizon-scanning analyses of emerging threats/opportunities in autonomous systems
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Manage $2M innovation lab budget for rapid prototyping initiatives
- Develop patent frameworks for next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Mentor junior futurists in emerging technology forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech roles (CIO/CTO/VP level preferred)
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Bioengineering
- Published research in Nature/Science on AI alignment or quantum encryption
- Proven track record launching products with $100M+ ARR
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (FDA, FCC, GDPR) for 2026 tech landscapes
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum computing platforms
- Certification in Futures Thinking from World Future Society
