Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, climate-tech)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and policy teams
- Establish ethical frameworks for next-gen technology deployment
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
- Present visionary blueprints to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive intelligence
- Secure $10M+ annual innovation budgets through compelling ROI projections
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record of scaling R&D initiatives to $100M+ budgets
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier tech publications
- Experience advising Fortune 500 CTOs on technology transformation
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes (FDA, FCC, EPA, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
