Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market forecasts and business objectives for 2026
- Lead discovery of emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic, decentralized systems) through global R&D partnerships
- Translate technical capabilities into product roadmaps with clear ROI projections
- Champion innovation culture through internal hackathons and external tech scouting initiatives
- Present strategic visions to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with measurable KPIs for tech adoption
- Build and lead a specialized Future Tech task force of 8-12 engineers and researchers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech roles with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- Proven track record launching products leveraging emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech, or Web3
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research or patents in futuristic technology domains
- Fluency in tech forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Experience managing cross-continental innovation teams
