Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases across web, mobile, and desktop applications
- Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA and defect tracking systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize testing efforts and resolve issues
- Conduct regression testing to ensure new features don't compromise existing functionality
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Maintain detailed test documentation and test case repositories
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues
- Validate fixes and verify resolution of reported defects
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of QA testing experience with manual and automated testing tools
- Proficiency in defect tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management tools
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in flexible settings
- Relevant certifications (ISTQB, CSTE) preferred but not required
