Responsibilities
- Implement advanced security protocols for equity options trading systems and market data feeds
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on financial applications
- Monitor SIEM alerts for anomalous trading activities and potential insider threats
- Develop incident response plans for options market manipulation attacks
- Collaborate with traders and risk analysts to assess cyber risks in derivative strategies
- Ensure compliance with FINRA, SEC, and PCI-DSS regulations for financial data
- Document security procedures and provide executive-level threat briefings
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with specific experience in financial services or trading platforms
- Certification in CISSP, CEH, or OSCP required
- Expertise in protecting equity options, derivatives, or high-frequency trading systems
- Proficiency in network security, encryption, and threat intelligence tools
- Knowledge of options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial) and market microstructure
