Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end security protocols for equity options trading platforms
- Conduct threat modeling and penetration testing on derivatives trading systems
- Monitor SIEM alerts and respond to real-time cyber incidents affecting financial instruments
- Collaborate with trading desks to develop secure options trading workflows
- Ensure compliance with SEC, FINRA, and CFTC cybersecurity regulations
- Lead incident response for trading system breaches affecting option pricing engines
- Document security procedures and conduct quarterly compliance audits
Qualifications
- 5+ years cybersecurity experience with financial services or derivatives trading systems
- Certification in CISSP, CISM, or OSCP with financial security specialization
- Expertise in securing options pricing engines and electronic trading platforms
- Deep understanding of equity options market mechanics and associated risks
- Proficiency in network security tools (Splunk, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike)
- Experience with SOC 2 Type II compliance frameworks
- Strong analytical skills for threat correlation in high-frequency trading environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related field
