Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma and Adobe XD
- Develop user personas and journey maps to understand user needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, marketers)
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback and stakeholder input
- Contribute to design system documentation and component libraries
- Present design solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Qualifications
- Portfolio demonstrating visual design and problem-solving skills (projects accepted from academic work, personal projects, or hackathons)
- Basic knowledge of UX principles and design methodologies
- Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar)
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
