Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for network connectivity issues
- Document network configurations and create detailed technical reports
- Collaborate with senior engineers on network upgrades and security implementations
- Assist with troubleshooting VOIP systems and wireless network optimization
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation (rotational schedule)
- Adhere to industry best practices and compliance standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in IT preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, OSI model)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in server environments
- CompTIA Network+ certification within 6 months of hire
