Responsibilities
- Technical Assistance: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for internal staff and clients.
- Ticket Management: Log, track, and manage IT support tickets using our Help Desk software to ensure timely resolution.
- Hardware Setup: Assemble and configure new workstations, laptops, and peripherals (printers, monitors).
- Software Deployment: Assist in the installation and maintenance of operating systems and business applications.
- Network Support: Monitor network performance and assist in troubleshooting connectivity issues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of technical issues and resolutions in our knowledge base.
- User Training: Provide basic guidance and training to users on software tools and best practices.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or IT preferred.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required, but familiarity with basic computer functions is a plus.
- Skills: Basic understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and a logical approach to troubleshooting.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first attitude.
- Availability: Ability to work full-time and participate in on-call rotation as needed.
- Certification: Eager to pursue CompTIA A+ or similar certifications upon employment.
