Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for employees via phone, email, and in-person
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and escalate issues as needed
- Document network changes, maintenance activities, and incident reports
- Assist with network security protocols and access management
- Collaborate with senior technicians on complex infrastructure projects
- Participate in ongoing training to expand technical knowledge
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with operating systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and work in server environments
- Valid driver's license (for occasional site visits)
- CompTIA Network+ certification preferred but not required
- Willingness to obtain industry certifications within 6 months
