Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Assist with network security implementations and access control management
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with senior engineers on system upgrades and maintenance schedules
- Provide Tier-1 support for internal and external network users
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation (rotational schedule)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Basic understanding of computer networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and work in server environments
- Valid Florida driver's license (for occasional site visits)
- CompTIA Network+ certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
