Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and access points
- Perform network diagnostics and troubleshooting to resolve connectivity issues
- Assist with network security protocols and access control implementations
- Document network configurations and create technical support documentation
- Collaborate with senior engineers on network expansion projects
- Provide tier-1 technical support to end-users via phone and remote tools
- Participate in regular training sessions to develop technical expertise
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
- Basic understanding of computer networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities for technical documentation and client interactions
- Willingness to earn industry certifications (CompTIA Network+ encouraged)
- Valid driver's license for occasional on-site visits
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs for equipment installation
