Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Extract, clean, and transform large datasets from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Advanced Analytics: Perform deep-dive statistical analysis and predictive modeling to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Visualization: Design and develop interactive dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to communicate complex data findings to stakeholders.
- SQL Development: Write complex SQL queries and scripts to support reporting and data retrieval requirements.
- Reporting: Create comprehensive monthly and quarterly reports that drive strategic business decisions.
- Process Improvement: Identify gaps in current data processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineering teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redshift) and experience with Python or R.
- Tools: Strong working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into business insights.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with a proven track record of solving complex problems.
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate to Raleigh, NC (Relocation assistance provided).
