Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems
- Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during security incident response
- Analyze malware and advanced persistent threats (APTs)
- Document security protocols and maintain compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST)
- Provide 24/7 security coverage during night shift rotations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations with night shift experience
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61)
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure
- Valid US driver's license for occasional on-site visits
