What You Will Do:
As a Junior Data Analyst, you will work closely with senior analysts to support business initiatives, clean datasets, and generate reports that drive decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, organize, and clean large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Dashboard Creation: Build and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Statistical Analysis: Perform basic statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the data.
- Reporting: Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations for stakeholders to communicate findings effectively.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams in North Carolina and Wichita to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization by analyzing current workflows and data outputs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and basic knowledge of SQL or Python is highly desirable.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong attention to detail and the ability to think critically about complex problems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate to Wichita, KS (Relocation Assistance provided).
- Software: Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or similar) is a plus.
