Responsibilities
- Assist in Data Collection: Gather and clean data from various internal and external sources to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis.
- Support Reporting: Create and maintain standard operational reports, dashboards, and executive summaries using tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Perform Exploratory Analysis: Use SQL and Python to query databases and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the data.
- Collaborate with Teams: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Maintain Documentation: Document data pipelines, methodologies, and analytical processes to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
- Data Quality Assurance: Monitor data quality metrics and identify areas for improvement in our reporting frameworks.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (Graduates with 0-2 years of experience are encouraged to apply).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros) and experience with SQL is highly preferred.
- Programming: Basic knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation is a plus but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Visualization: Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker) is a significant advantage.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about data quality and interpretation.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
