Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the SOC.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal and external networks.
- Implement and maintain security protocols, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Perform compliance audits to ensure adherence to standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Collaborate with IT teams to secure cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and prevent data breaches.
- Document security incidents and create detailed reports for management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Cybersecurity, SOC Analysis, or Network Security.
- Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common attack vectors.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) and SIEM log analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting technical findings.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment or collaborate in an office setting.
