Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Processing: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform descriptive and predictive statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data.
- Report Generation: Develop clear, concise, and visually appealing reports and dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- SQL & Database Management: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract specific data sets and support database maintenance tasks.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with marketing, finance, and operations teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements based on data analysis.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and basic knowledge of SQL or Python.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable business recommendations.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy when handling data and attention to detail in reporting.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings to a non-technical audience.
- Tools: Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio) is a plus.
