Responsibilities
- Assist in Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather data from various internal systems and databases to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Create Visualizations: Build clear and compelling charts and graphs using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Support Reporting: Assist in the development and maintenance of weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports.
- Database Management: Learn to write basic SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate datasets efficiently.
- Trend Analysis: Identify patterns and trends in data to help the marketing and sales teams make informed decisions.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions like VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is required; familiarity with SQL or Python is a plus but not mandatory.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and the ability to spot errors in large datasets.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong logical thinking skills and the ability to solve complex problems using data.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present data findings to non-technical audiences.
- Availability: Ability to commit to a full-time schedule (Monday through Friday) in Columbus, OH.
