Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather raw data from various sources and perform rigorous cleaning to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct statistical analysis to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies within datasets.
- Visualization: Create intuitive and interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Reporting: Develop standard operating procedures and data documentation to support ongoing business operations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Market Research: Assist in researching industry trends and competitive landscapes to provide context for internal data.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros) and basic SQL knowledge.
- Programming: Familiarity with Python or R is a strong plus.
- Tools: Experience with data visualization software (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to translate technical data into business language.
