Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and preprocess data from various internal and external sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform basic to intermediate statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large data sets.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Reporting: Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations summarizing data findings to support business strategy and decision-making.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- SQL & Database Management: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract specific data subsets efficiently and maintain data integrity.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and basic knowledge of SQL (SELECT, JOIN, WHERE clauses).
- Visualization Tools: Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is highly preferred.
- Programming: Basic understanding of Python or R for data manipulation is a plus.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex data into simple, actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical findings to non-technical audiences.
