Responsibilities
- Collaborate: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to identify key data requirements and translate business objectives into analytical tasks.
- Clean & Prep: Extract, clean, and preprocess large datasets to ensure accuracy and reliability for analysis.
- Visualize: Design and develop interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to track KPIs and visualize trends for stakeholders.
- Query: Write complex SQL queries to retrieve data from relational databases and perform data manipulation.
- Analyze: Conduct statistical analysis and interpret data patterns to provide actionable recommendations to management.
- Document: Maintain clear documentation of data pipelines, processes, and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
- Present: Communicate complex analytical findings to non-technical audiences in a clear and compelling manner.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- SQL Proficiency: Solid understanding of SQL (SELECT, JOINs, GROUP BY, subqueries) and database management.
- Excel Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and basic macros.
- Tools: Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI) or programming languages (Python, R) is a strong plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tell a story with data.
