Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems
- Document security incidents and maintain compliance with NIST frameworks
- Assist in implementing zero-trust architecture and endpoint protection solutions
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security in CI/CD pipelines
- Participate in threat hunting exercises and malware analysis
- Support incident response activities under senior guidance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (or pursuing)
- Familiarity with TCP/IP networking and common security tools
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Windows systems administration
- Understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities
