Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts for equity options trading platforms using SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments on financial systems and trading applications
- Assist in developing incident response plans for cybersecurity threats targeting financial data
- Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to SEC and FINRA regulations
- Document security incidents, mitigation actions, and preventive measures
- Participate in penetration testing simulations for trading infrastructure
- Stay updated on emerging threats specific to financial markets and equity options
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- CompTIA Security+ or CEH certification (preferred)
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, firewalls, and network security principles
- Basic knowledge of financial markets and equity options (desirable)
- Experience with security tools like Splunk, Wireshark, or Nessus
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
