We specialize in securing equity options trading platforms and ensuring the integrity of financial markets. As a junior member of our Security Operations Center (SOC), you will gain hands-on experience working alongside seasoned professionals, learning to identify threats, manage vulnerabilities, and safeguard sensitive client assets.

Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events in real-time using SIEM tools to identify potential threats against our trading infrastructure.
- Assist in the investigation and triage of security incidents and the logging of findings for analysis.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection.
- Conduct basic vulnerability assessments and participate in penetration testing exercises under the guidance of senior security engineers.
- Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure adherence to financial industry regulations (e.g., FINRA, SEC) regarding data protection.
- Participate in security awareness training sessions and help educate internal stakeholders on cybersecurity best practices.
- Document security processes and maintain accurate records of security events and system configurations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong interest in cybersecurity, network security, and information protection.
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting technical findings.
- Ability to obtain required security clearances and pass background checks.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn new security tools and technologies quickly.
