Responsibilities

- Assist in implementing and maintaining security controls (firewalls, encryption, access controls)
- Document security incidents and remediation procedures for compliance reporting
- Participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure adherence to NIST and CIS frameworks
- Conduct routine security audits and system hardening activities
- Stay updated on emerging threats through continuous learning initiatives
Qualifications
- No prior cybersecurity experience required—recent graduates and career changers welcome
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
