Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity
- Investigate and document security incidents using established protocols
- Assist with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing support
- Collaborate with senior analysts on threat intelligence analysis
- Conduct security awareness training for employees
- Maintain security documentation and compliance reports
- Participate in 24/7 rotational on-call rotation (training provided)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to obtain Security+ certification within 6 months
- Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced environments
- Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems
- Passion for continuous learning and cybersecurity trends
