Responsibilities
- Design, test, and iterate advanced prompts for LLMs to achieve specific behavioral outcomes
- Develop prompt engineering frameworks and reusable templates for enterprise AI applications
- Collaborate with ML engineers to fine-tune model behavior using prompt-based techniques
- Document prompt libraries and establish version control for prompt engineering assets
- Conduct A/B testing on prompt variations to optimize AI response quality
- Train cross-functional teams on prompt engineering best practices
- Stay current with emerging AI research and integrate cutting-edge techniques
- Monitor and mitigate prompt injection vulnerabilities in production systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering or NLP-focused AI development
- Proven track record of shipping production-level AI systems with measurable impact
- Expertise in GPT-4, Claude, or equivalent LLM architectures
- Strong Python programming skills with experience in AI frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating complex prompt engineering projects
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical prompt specifications
- Familiarity with MLOps tools and CI/CD for AI systems
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
