Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity
- Assist with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing initiatives
- Document security incidents and contribute to incident response reports
- Perform basic forensic analysis of security events using Splunk/QRadar
- Participate in phishing simulation campaigns and security awareness training
- Support compliance audits for NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks
- Collaborate with SOC team on threat intelligence analysis
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications a plus)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS)
