Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Processing: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
- Visualization: Develop compelling dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools for executive stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and engineers to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting requirements.
- SQL Development: Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data efficiently.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the data lifecycle and recommend solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems using data.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings for non-technical audiences.
- Flexibility: Willingness to relocate to San Diego, CA (Relocation assistance provided).
