What You'll Do:
As a Data Analyst at MDLS, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain and operational efficiency. You will work closely with department heads to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and visualize data to support business growth.
Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets from various internal and external sources to ensure accuracy for reporting.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance metrics and trends for stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct in-depth statistical analysis to identify patterns, correlations, and anomalies within operational data.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive weekly and monthly reports that summarize findings and provide strategic recommendations to management.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with operations teams to identify inefficiencies and propose data-backed solutions to streamline workflows.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical findings into clear, concise insights for non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing industries.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for database querying and experience with visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Excel Mastery: Advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros.
- Programming: Familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data effectively.
