Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Modeling: Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL, Python, and Excel to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies relevant to our weekend operations.
- Reporting & Visualization: Design and maintain interactive dashboards (Tableau/PowerBI) to visualize complex data sets, making them accessible and understandable for non-technical stakeholders.
- Performance Metrics: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate comprehensive weekly and monthly reports to evaluate business performance during the weekend shift.
- Data Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor data quality protocols to ensure the integrity and accuracy of all reporting data.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and operations teams to define data requirements and support ad-hoc data investigations.
- Documentation: Create detailed documentation of data sources, methodologies, and database schemas to ensure process transparency.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (querying and optimization), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into actionable business insights for diverse audiences.
- Tools: Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and familiarity with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
- Work Ethic: Ability to work efficiently during weekend shifts and maintain high accuracy under tight deadlines.
