As a Weekend Data Analyst, you will be the backbone of our weekend reporting cycle. You will work independently to ensure our data pipelines are clean, our dashboards are up-to-date, and our stakeholders have the insights they need to make informed decisions. Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive data cleaning and transformation processes to ensure high-quality datasets.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Generate accurate weekly and monthly analytical reports for executive leadership and department heads.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Perform advanced SQL queries to extract and manipulate complex data from multiple sources.
- Document data models, methodologies, and analytical processes to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Monitor data integrity and troubleshoot data discrepancies within the reporting systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, with a proven track record of working in a weekend shift environment.
- Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets and tell a compelling story.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present findings to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts.
