As a Data Analyst on our weekend squad, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining data integrity, generating critical reports, and supporting our business intelligence initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and drive strategic decision-making during off-peak hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform rigorous data cleaning and validation to ensure high-quality datasets for reporting.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and scripts to extract and manipulate data.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to communicate trends and insights.
- Generate weekly and monthly performance reports for stakeholders with a focus on accuracy and clarity.
- Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to support data pipeline maintenance and optimization.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and strong knowledge of Python or R.
- Visualization Tools: Advanced experience with Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Excel: Expert level skills in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Availability: Must be available to work the weekend shift (Friday-Monday or Saturday-Sunday, depending on rotation).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
