Role Overview:
The Data Analyst will play a crucial role in interpreting complex data sets to drive decision-making processes. You will work closely with the operations and management teams to ensure data integrity and generate actionable insights during our high-volume weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and validate large datasets to ensure high data quality for reporting.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to support ad-hoc reporting.
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI.
- Conduct statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in weekly data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data models.
- Present complex analytical findings to stakeholders in a clear, visual format.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot data discrepancies during shifts.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redshift) and Python.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively during weekend shifts.
- Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
