Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents on weekend rotations
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response plans and playbooks
- Collaborate with global teams on threat intelligence sharing
- Document security events and prepare executive reports
- Implement security controls and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Expertise in network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Valid US driver's license (for Austin/NC office visits)
