Location Note: While based in Sacramento, CA, we welcome candidates from Illinois for this fully remote role.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets using SQL, Python, and Excel to identify trends and business opportunities
- Create compelling data visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for executive presentations
- Develop automated reporting dashboards for weekend shift monitoring
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and KPIs
- Ensure data quality through rigorous validation and cleaning processes
- Present findings to stakeholders through clear, actionable reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and Excel
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (6 AM - 2 PM PT)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
