Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that drive business recommendations.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and develop interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to visualize complex data sets for stakeholders.
- Reporting: Create regular and ad-hoc reports summarizing key findings and presenting insights to management and non-technical audiences.
- SQL Development: Write optimized SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases efficiently.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement by analyzing current data workflows and recommending solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and programming languages such as Python or R.
- Visualization: Strong experience with BI tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into simple, actionable insights.
- Remote Work: Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working independently in a remote setting.
