Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Processing: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Advanced Analytics: Perform complex data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that drive strategic decision-making.
- Visualization & Reporting: Create compelling dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools to present findings to stakeholders clearly.
- Database Management: Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve data efficiently and maintain database schemas.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Marketing, and Operations, to understand business requirements.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement data-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Tools: Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in data analysis or a related role.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot data issues and derive meaningful insights.
