Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Processing: Extract, clean, and transform large datasets using SQL and Python scripts to ensure high-quality analysis.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create compelling dashboards and reports using Tableau and PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Trend Analysis: Monitor data trends during the night shift to identify opportunities for process improvement and revenue growth.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and product teams to define data requirements and resolve technical discrepancies.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data pipelines, methodologies, and analytical findings for future reference.
- Quality Assurance: Audit data integrity and accuracy to prevent reporting errors.
- Automations: Develop automated scripts to streamline repetitive data tasks and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Analysis or Business Intelligence.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in SQL (Advanced), Python (Pandas/NumPy), and experience with BI tools (Tableau/PowerBI).
- Schedule: Must be available and willing to work the night shift (shift hours vary between 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM PST).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data issues independently.
- Remote Work: Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office space.
