Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in Virginia Beach. This is a Night Shift position offering a unique opportunity to work during off-peak hours while enjoying Relocation Assistance for candidates not currently residing in Virginia. You will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business growth and operational efficiency.
As a Data Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends, visualize data, and present findings that support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Collect, clean, and interpret large datasets to identify patterns and trends using SQL and Python.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create compelling dashboards and reports in Tableau and PowerBI to communicate complex data findings to stakeholders.
- Trend Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis on historical data to forecast future trends and support business planning.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to management regarding project milestones and data integrity.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate technical analysis into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in data collection processes and propose automated solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in Data Analysis, preferably in a Night Shift environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (Querying, Joins), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data-driven insights effectively.
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate to Virginia Beach, VA.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
