Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Processing: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within business data.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop interactive and visually compelling dashboards using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Reporting: Create comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders, translating complex data findings into clear, concise business insights.
- Forecasting: Assist in predictive modeling to forecast future trends and support long-term strategic planning.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, operations) to understand data needs and provide technical support.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for database querying and experience with visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Programming: Strong knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
